|
| Terroir : Our parcel is in les Pougets, a full South orientation. The cultivation of the vineyard is manual without compacting the soil. |
|
| Character : Beginning with the 2000 vintage, the harvests have been relatively early in order to conserve acidity and a certain finesse as well as to balance the richness and the natural volume of Corton-Charlemagne. The wine has a fairly marked golden colour. The nose is intense and marked by hazelnuts, fresh nuts. The power of the aromas is remarkable. On the palate, one finds notes of apple whites and apricots. The wine is mineral, shows lovely acidity and a high natural degree of alcohol that provides for a powerful, concentrated wine with fine persistence. |
