Terroir : This Meursault is born from the marriage of two vineyards: •Meursault les Clous is on the upper part of the “classic” hillside of Meursault, exposition east. The depth of the clay soils is about one metre.•Meursault les Crotots situated below the Meursault 1er cru les Porusots, exposition east on clay-limestone soils.
Character : The nose is fine with fruit notes. It is pleasant revealing elegance and an attractive, aromatic palette. The palate is round with great freshness and marked notes of citrus fruits. It is a compelling wine--profound, balanced and persistent on the palate which lacks neither freshness nor finesse. This is a Grand Blanc de Garde.
Ageing Potential : 8 to 10 years
Service Temperature : 11 - 13 °C
Pairings : Serve with noble fishes or shellfish.
